I think it's because of his trauma, cause he thinks that after they get lovely dovely the Mc will leave him... He was afraid that if the Mc left him he'll be all alone again that's why he didn't yet put label on their relationship... And it's explain why when they go on a movie and the Mc decided to pick horror to take 'revenge' on the Ml
i think hes too afraid to get attached because he thinks won dae will drop him or something since he has these moments where he love bombs him and then suddenly closes off or runs away he constantly says they will go their separate paths and there was that time early on in their friendship too where he said he didnt want to be friends anymore when he just got yoonwon trust and became his first friend

okay but why is the ML trying so hard not to put a label on them? Did his childhood trauma cause it? i just cant see how his trauma makes him afraid of a relationship when he can confidently express his affection towards MC? or did i miss something
