No his father is a doppelgänger, he won’t use an identity of his son if he’s given a second chance of life and is supposed to be monitored. He’s most likely deemed as evil because of his actions and awareness of how horrible it was.
Plus the gauge is on the person, not a report of what they did. So his dark aura is a reflection of him and not something that can be manipulated.

As the 2nd person said, the gauge will detect any crimes u personally did, people impersonating you doesn't make it your crime.
