So i saw a reel about this manga and i pretty much remember reading something like this but i forgot the name so the summary is:
when the uke and seme were in high school, they were caught kissing and were reported to the school principal. the uke's father verbally and physically abused him. when the uke came to school, he found out that the seme had dropped out. actually the seme lied to the school authority that he had forced himself upon the uke and beat the guy up who found them out and then he started doing part time jobs and cut off contact with the uke. the uke didn't know that the seme had sacrificed himself to save him. he thought that the seme had abandoned him.
