She has quickly become one of my favorite FLs. She is truly badass and intelligent to boot. Even though she's slightly mild, she's nowhere near meek. With these last few chapters, she's definitely the right woman to stand beside Shu as his wife and Duchess. He's badass and so is she.

You are right! She really was bland at the beginning and it seemed like she was going to be another FL who can't speak up for herself and is very mouse-like and fragile. But, I stand corrected. I really like how she grew into her role and title as the Duchess.
And did you see what the red bitch did? Can't remember if it was one or two chapters ago, but she tried to separate Valia from the Saintess by pouring wine of her. Valia sidestepped that bitch so fast and gave her a "Really bitch?" look. Lmaooo
