Solo Leveling was one of the first series that came out with this concept before it became largely popularized. So, if you were around then, you'd definitely get behind the hype. I can see why you wouldn't think so, especially if you've read similar content prior to this one, though.
oh its been around since 2016, i see. I do not read webtoon before but ive been an anime/manga fan since 2014. But i get what you mean. I've watched tons of isekai and OP characters that this seems like mid to me.
As a fan of OP characters i did not expect this to be mid. I expected more but its fine just overhyped.
I predicted a lot of whats gonna happen at first thats why I dropped it at chapter 40. I actually liked the art and i was like "cool fight". But the fans glorify this too much
