Whattt really? Is it novel spoilers? Because till chapter 8 he always says that he loves Psyche and that he doesnt want to make her sad…

It's a novel spoiler and it was a whole plot twist thing in the novel . He lied about loving psyche and probably felt sad when fl said the women he loves doesn't love him (he loves fl)

Ohhh the fact that he asked "who is it that i love" makes so much more sense now! I did think for a second like wait does this dude like fl by any chance and we just think otherwise??? Now i know

Here's a excerpt from someone who read the novel.
ML was always in love with Daphne. He started the whole rebellion thing to make Daphne queen. Og plotline was

Daphne loves Romeo -> Romeo loves Psyche, so he doesn't love Daphne. -> Romeo leaves Daphne and makes Psyche crown princess -> Celestine tried to take Psyche away from Romeo for revenge (I think) -> and then take the throne through rebellion -> leave Psyche -> marry daphne -> all so Daphne can be queen

So imagine this guy waiting to die and miserable because his rebellion didn't succeed, and suddenly the adoration of his life and the catalyst of all of this casually just picks him up and essentially locks him in her room

Sounds like a dream come true. Honestly, If I was him, I would have jumped the first chance I got. I would proclaim my love and br annoying.

Lol I'm thinking wouldn't it be easier to go straight to rebellion and taking the throne then marry daphne? I feel like him adding the extra step of going after psyche adds alotta complications lol
