Or give himself a good position. After all if he can supposedly protect himself and others from mind rape and this ability is rare, well you become very valuable for these types of dungeon. Very few, or maybe even no dungeons naturally do this? Well, simple! Just do the mind rape yourself undetected and underplay your mind raping abilities to the guild! Create the problem and be the solution (and sell it)!
So that sh*tty *ss esper has been messing with the whole guilds' minds for what reason I guess we'll have to wait to find out... maybe to take over the guild or destroy it..
