No we hate that the ending is trash. It took 20 heroes to stop one crime, the rivalry that everyone loved between Deku and Bakugou is dead, there was a timeskip so Deku's disinterest in being a hero threw a lot of people off and the fact that it took Deku 8 years to realize he wanted to be closer to Uraraka is dogshit writing for a romantic conclusion.
Deku wanting to be a teacher is fitting and a lot of people liked the idea before it was canon but his interest for it happened off screen and sort of came out of no where.
430 was not bad but again the timeskip made it lose points. 431 however threw away what a lot of people loved about mha in the first place like Deku wanting to be a hero, Bakugou and Deku's rivalry, becoming number. It's like none of that even matters anymore.
As a big fan of Bakugou, the chapter was depressing. He didn't smile even once, he was rejected and he's not even in the top 5. Bakugou is the most popular character in the franchise so majority of the fandom was not happy from just this alone.
And also the "romantic conclusion" was lacking. It took 8 years for one and there wasn't even a confession so what is the pay off? He wants them to be "closer"? That's not good writing. It was disappointing. There are so many IzuOcha moment that could have been great and romantic but they were not, including this one. 431 isn't even on mangago or viz because it's an EXTRA but it was so bad it pisses me off to this day.
So no. People are not mad because "Izuku is straight." Were mad because the ending was genuinely just ass.

Yeah you made that up buddy. This isn't the first time I've heard someone say this so let me just ask do you have proof? Because I looked on Twitter for HOURS and I couldn't find any death threats relating to yaoi ships. But I CAN find death threats from Bakugou antis when he came back from the dead and SEVERAL IzuOcha shippers in a few minutes. Unless you've seen these so called death threats you need to shut the fuck up.
IZUOCHA ARE SO CUTE OMG
