We found out that's not what they are actually doing though, more bc he assaulted someone before being kidnapped, but they don't know that he was murdered and had the body disposed of, just know that he is "missing". And so, it's logical to think that he simply ran away, and bc Ameri has some evidences pointing to him, they think he's involved
So it's not BL because the obsessive love is more like a brother-complex, though with how he acts anyone'd think he loves him romantically. Heck, other characters already think they are dating. Anyway dude's half-brother got hard for him I wouldn't know what else to expect from this author, but lets be real incest is the least of our concerns with all these characters having fucked up moralities.
Dubious morals aside I find it ridiculous the police and teachers are trying to find "justice" for a bully who had ruined multiple people's lives while sweeping past victims' experiences under the rug. Naur man I think that Nishino dude deserved worse.
