They literally are, that’s how the food industry works. It’s why there are health inspections and such. If you die from the food because it was proved to be the cause of death bc it was prepared wrong you can sue the provider. When food (especially meat) has sat at for a while it’s becomes inedible. Companies don’t want to get sued. It’s literally the Dunkin Donuts incident. I did not make this logic up it is straight up how the food industry works dude.
The reason why excess food isn’t given to the poor is because if the poor die because of the food the provider doesn’t want to liable. If you’re dying of starvation you’re not feeling disrespect, you’re feeling not dead.
