Thrown away to the slums and had to work in some sort of mine just to use all the payments on gacha for his single ray of hope to turning this all around. And when he did get that hope and only when he was just one step away (registering his SSR account) be snatched away again and beaten near death and thrown money for a single gacha pull as his "compensation". Humiliated and in despair he turns back to his ray of hope and it does not forsake him.

I don't know if this'll continue to be updated but I appreciate the background. There's drama and motive. A direction for the story to go
