Exactly, it depends on the situation. This is what i've been saying. (づ￣ ³￣)づ All i've been arguing is that not EVERY situation in which you're touched while asleep is rape, which is what the OP was arguing. I gave an example of this by saying that if you are intimate with the person, then consent is implied and wouldn't necessarily need to be given for that person to touch you while you sleep. Most people would be happy to wake up to find their crush touching them sexually. There are exceptions, of course, but my entire point was that someone being unconscious doesn't automatically make it rape, it depends on the circumstances.
Just curious. What are your impressions on chapter 17?
It looks as though Minjae was traumatized by the rape scene when Hyeongjo thought Minjae spread the rumor, its very unfortunate, but at least now they're communicating and Hyeongjo is willing to make an effort towards Minjae's well-being. Same text as the last chapter as well, just Hyeongjo feeling apologetic towards Minjae for the way he treated him. I was thinking that it is possible that he feels apologetic towards the other sex scenes, but since it doesn't give any tangible evidence as to which scenes specifically he is feeling bad about, i chose to go with the flow of the conversation and assume he's specifically feeling sorry about the rape scene i mentioned above as that is the source of Minjae's trauma. How about you? What do you think of chapter 17?
I got the impression they were talking about everything because Hyoengjo said "you accepted everything" and Minjae said "all those things are your mistakes". But what's more important, though, is that Hyeongjo should really do something about those unstable emotions of his. Seeing him then and now I can't help but think, "freakin roller coaster..."
Really? i felt as though his feelings were heading in a more positive direction. He hadn't been making his intentions clear the entire time, but now that he has it is clear that he is just bursting with love for Minjae. One could argue that he is still "raping" Minjae in ch 17, but it seemed pretty obvious to me that he is just bursting at the seams now that his love is being reciprocated. Personally, i think this is how he was in all the "rape" scenes before this as well, especially after seeing in ch 16 (i think it was) how during one of the scenes that looked like rape Hyeongjo had actually been being really considerate of Minjae in his own way when he searched up how to have gay sex and went and got the lotion and what not to prepare him before entering. It had originally shown him in a negative light by just showing Minjae waking up and being fucked all the sudden, but it just showed us that Hyeongjo was actually being pretty cute in that scene. The only scene that i really consider rape is the scene where Hyeongjo thinks Minjae spread the rumor, i think the rest of the scenes were like this one where it looked like rape, but was actually a little more light hearted than it let on.
If you are sleeping and other people do that to you, its rape, even if you guys are lovers. Assholes boyfriends like to do that.
