My guess:
Because of Eunho's family. Jaeha is a coward when it comes to what society might think about homosexuality and his status, and if Eunho's family used to take care of him I guess he's afraid that he would lose them. Eunho doesn't care about any of that. He's honest and straightforward so he probably said that he wanted to talk to his family and Jaeha freaked out. So... in "order to protect him" or whatever crap excuse he imagined, he thought it was better to break -yet again- the kid's heart, when they finally were together and their feelings were mutual. No wonder Eunho wanted to enlist ._.

I'm crying so much right now. I don't think I can keep on reading this. So my poor Eunho is going to enlist and Jaeha is closing the art gallery. I guess it'll be time skip for a year or two. That's ok but....
But...
I don't think I will be ok if in this time they'll be apart Jaeha is shown to be sleeping around or even getting remarried. If that happened I really don't want to know. A part of me wants Eunho to move on and forget about him, but I really hope Jaeha will be the one to chase after him this time around. In the end I want them together. Eunho is good for Jaeha even if he's not good for Eunho. It's really that bad to wish for a happy ending? And after all this pain I don't want to wait for another 40 chapters to have that. I can't with more angst. I want them to quarrel as a couple for something stupid!! I want them living together.
