I don't think it was a season end.. S1 ended at ch 70 and the hiatus was at ch 85. Still no news and someone commented on the first page that the artist has deleted posts about this and we have no info about the author...
Also the second season was never officially translated to English so I think there's was another issue
So I looked in twitter and it looks like this author just takes long break (8 month - 1 year breaks). Season 2 started 8 months after the last chapter of season 1. She finished season 1 July 2023 and start again march 2024 and just stopped July 2024. So I’m guessing she is mostly doing this over the summer so I predict it’s coming back march. Hopefully!!
