I'm guessing it's something psychosomatic, or it could be a symptom of anxiety? he was struggling a lot to let go of the expectations he had put on himself from a young age, which can be pretty anxiety-inducing (imo).
Wait so why was he coughing so much? I thought that was going to be tied to his illness somehow. But coughing fits aren’t a symptom of depression…kinda confused
