Sorry but that up vote was actually meant to be a down vote. I found it very realistic in the way that all the caracters struggled and still weren't secure at the end. Just like in real life, sometimes you make mistakes that leave scars and try hard to do better for yourself and your loved ones...

I totally agree with you. I wish all the fujoshi would stop thinking that manga are the same as real life, because honestly we struggle so much and our lives aren't as easy as in a manga, tho sometimes I wish it was

I felt bad for the girl, too. But the story is pretty realistic and not so much on the romantic side and I appreciated it so much. ^^

This was a very ignorant comment; talk about overgeneralization. Not all Fujoshi are delusional ninnies with a skewed sense of reality. As a matter of fact, few fujoshi are, as the majority are adult women, from all walks of life, very much aware of the painful realities of the human experience, and hence, use Yaoi as one their forms of escapism. We don't know enough or what the OP meant with her/his comment about not liking the manga to automatically jump to the conclusion she/he thinks fiction and real life are the same. That thinking process is just ignorant. Some people don't like their fiction to reflect reality too much because it interferes with their fantasy or specific elements that can ruin the experience, and there's nothing wrong with that; therefore, her/his not liking the manga could be due to a multitude of reasons that have nothing to do with having a skewed sense of reality. My advice to people that tend to jump to conclusions is for next time, instead of attacking someone, engage in productive discourse. Public discourse is much more intellectually stimulating and beneficial to everyone in the forum.
