Reading material that contains rape does not automatically meant you justify and liked the rape. Especially how it delivered the message. MC is slowly losing his sanity and worse, the teachings of his faith is harming his mind, thinking he is at gault. He is a filth. The ratings of this is understandable since it has touched the taboo. The topic of rape and the church especially with its teaching, esp the purity culture. Some are disgusted. Some are perplexed even offended that author would use the church as theme.
yea exactly, I had said I liked this story before to someone else but they started saying that if i read it im supporting rape because it’s sexualizing it… i’m kinda dumb when it comes to controversial stuff so I just sometimes keep it to myself because i don’t wanna be seen as a immoral person
I usually skip the rape parts but i kinda like the plot. I’m not justifying the rape. i’m not saying i like the rape. i’m just saying that i like the part where you have to find out who the suspect is and how you can see how he slowly starts going into this mental state. I do hope that the story doesn’t justify rape in the later chapters and I hope nothing but the best for the mc. I hate every single male lead and I wish for the mc to leave the place and have a happily ever after.
