No the evil thing isn't right (⊙…⊙ ) he's in a desperate situation where he had 2 "choices" : risking his mother's health or taking that thing's offer, this isn't him choosing something willingly coz it's easy. I'm not saying his ex should be the one saving him coz it's a huge burden, but let's please not act as if he made that decision freely.

I said EASIER, not easiest. He chose the option that was easier (and yes, for his mom, I mentioned in my og comment as well)
There was a harder option, to struggle/earn with his bf (now ex) for the meds and such at the club as per usual, which he did not choose.
The evil chick laid down all the cards for what she wants, and he chose it because he believes he can put up with it and handle breaking up with his bf (for whatever reason)
Still doesn't change anything lol it's neither the easiest nor easier. She knew perfectly well he was desperate and scared for his mother's health, what he did isn't a real choice and I don't get why you're not understanding that. You can wish his ex happiness without downplaying his situation.

I didnt like his passive nature while his mom and ex bf are concerned for him, hence I said that.
This is just my personal opinion/wish that he should've tried to stand his ground (or chose a different course of actions), but I like this story, and want to see how this author goes about it.

Because he thought marrying what he needs to do now his mother suffers too (it broke my heart to see her doubt herself), I'm upset at him because the people who care about him (his mom, ex bf) now suffer.
I hate this woman to bits and please don't worry I have empathy for victims irl, this is just my distaste at a fictional situation, wherein I wish he never allowed such a vile person to interact with his mom and have his bf concerned for him too.

no it just looked like you sided with the evil woman and downplaying the victim's (which is in this case myungha ,he is the victim) situation, i never liked his decision but he is in emotional distress and desperate and that woman used that against him
Man guys I was speaking for jungwon (forgot his name, the ex bf), I don't like that he's going th extra mile. Sweet perhaps that he still looking out for him even th he broke up with him, but i didn't like it.

Honestly the evil lady is right, he choose to be with her for the money, he made his bed now sleep in it, why his poor ex bf gotta bust his ass trying to save him when he clearly choose the easier option (albeit it's to help his hospitalized mum faster), idk, I wonder how this will play out.
