for some indicators that he's in his 3d year of middle school (there's more i got lazy): ch1 has the tag "all-boys middle school" when lee won gets to class, he talks about being in the same class as his bully for the 3d year in a row in ch2 (his current class with hangun), and in ch3 lee won finds out that hangun isn't planning on going to an athletic high school
the only time he's called a high schooler is by his mom in ch8, right? i'm thinking it's either a typo, or supposed to show that his mom is neglectful of him nd forgot what he was doing
