i'm kind of perplexed regarding the father's actions. he barely paid hirokawa any attention, and he said, "i'm disappointed (?) in you. do whatever you want." but then he has his men getting hirokawa back home? maybe it's his parental-side that's finally showing in the manga? i'm actually just trying to convince myself that the father isn't trying to split them up, say there's issues and needs hirokawa and wants to marry off hirokawa or something.
