Hm..in my eyes he isn't weaker. He always successfully pins Xi down and Xi struggles hard. Also in the future he successfully prays his door open and steals a kiss from Xi. Given his family background when he is away I bet he will gain more experience with fighting and gang activities while Xi will be living a normal life. So he will get even stronger. Just in my eyes.
