Since it's connected to the mark on Kyon's neck, I'm guessing that it's something Lucaon used his power to materialize. I guess it shows how possessive Lucaon is. Why else would he chain Kyon to the bed?
the first chain appearance shows how lucaon stills doesn't trust kou, as a servant and demand a control over him. then in the newest chap, there's development between lucaon and kou. he chained kou inside his room that shows how possessive he is towards kou.
