You know this is work of fiction, but people are just normally like that. Considering this is a lot close to reality and slice of life, the MC just graduate highschool, 18 and the ML is 6 years her senior (24), I say there's nothing wrong with her and I like how this story is not anything grand, people in reality can't just be whatever because it's ideal, heck, people is still the same until in their 30s, people don't need to be something to sounds great. Even the ML, and the department president is not that great either. What do you exactly expect of her? To be the talk of the town or school goddess??
Anyways, I'm just leaving it here, this have been finished for long but no one have decided to translate this to english so I'm just google translating a spanish translation instead. And I think no one is picking this up for how many haters the MC got in english readers, who wants to translate it with readers like this.
I swear that's why it's frustrating to read female MC and I have read more BL in my life because of how much hate female MC gets easily to readers (ofc mostly females too). But if a character like MC is an uke to a BL webtoon or a male character instead, I swear they won't get as much hate like this, they might even call him, cute, airheaded, clueless, fun and all sorts of positive words but if a woman is insensitive and do what they want, they're frustrating and an idiot.
I don't think the MC's action warrant all readers here to be hella mean, everthing she did is of no malice and all she does are true to her words and actions. She does not lie to her emotions and faces everything. I don't really get the intense hate on woman in society when men don't get the same energy honestly, who could hate a women more then women? It's really tiring, it's just really women vs women, not patriarchy or whatnot.
I feel like the female lead has made no character development in a sense. She’s still actively changing herself to be with that “oppa” of hers. I thought maybe there would be a chance the story could turn into her redemption arc. Finally, seeing she’s been chasing after the wrong man.
