intense, way too intense….

brett testifies in court and starts talking about how nathan accidentally showed him a pic of bullying alex, also how he forced brett and hayden to have sex in front of him and how he was kissed forcefully by nathan without his consent. nathan’s lawyer objects and the judge tells brett to only talk about incidents related to the case, so brett says that he remembers how nathan would draw and write awful things on alex’s body, the fact that nathan would use his alpha nature as an excuse to behave like that since young, that he doesn’t know who taught him that and he looked right at nathan’s dad (you’re amazing brett!!). after the first session brett approaches nathan’s dad and tells him that it’s true nathan wanted to have sex with him, etc to provoke him and then the detective appears behind them and tells him he will arrest him the next time brett kisses him. and now…. hayden also appears and he hears the word kiss, so brett tells him to talk somewhere else. hayden questions brett, he also says that brett promised to not lie anymore so he doesn’t understand what brett is doing, why would he testify in favor of the person that almost kills him. brett tells him that he remembers hayden said in the past that he wants to know everything about brett, but brett thinks knowing everything is not always good, and asks him if he’s still willing to hear what brett has to say. brett tells him the truth and what is pushing him to see this through the end, to which hayden obviously disapproves and also states it’s too dangerous and then he connects the dots. the accident on christmas eve…. and the chapters ends by asking brett what really happened that day.

i like how fierce and confident brett was during the entire chapter and how he kept a calm face until hayden realized about the accident, where he finally showed a different emotion. next chapter will be a heavy one, i just know. given how hayden reacted this chapter, if brett tells him all (which i think he will) hayden is gonna lose it 100%. there are so many thoughts going through my head now so that’s it from me for now.
