I don't watch Boruto, but I thought a few novels got animated, just like at the end of Naruto? Looked it up, the Retsuden was indeed animated from episodes 282-286.
It was but many scenes were changed or comletely cut out including Sasuke not allowing Jiji to touch Sakura's hair, him touching her cheek at the lake and their whole interaction at home. Basically every scene where we see just how much Sasuke loves Sakura.
It was indeed animated, but as the comment above says many scenes that showcase their love towards each other were either modified or cut out altogether.
I also ended up re-reading Naruto Original and Shippuden manga as well as rewatching the entire anime series over the last few months to compare the two, and have concluded that the animation studio has been modifying, cutting out, and basically robbing us of SasuSaku moments and their chemistry since the beginning of time
Bruhhhh even in this manga they robbed his,there’s many more cute moments between them that the didn’t draw
I am forever mad that the animation studio robbed us of this cuteness. As a matter of fact, they’ve been robbing us of SasuSaku moments since the beginning of time, ugh.
