this is an insane conclusion to jump to but honestly, i been saying his character design is giving supernatural lol it’s the ears!!!
Not only ears, but his eyes are not human too... Look at those pupils.
Ears not human, eyes not human? And that would make a total sense with the festival and all.
i’m really interested to see if the author will decide to take it there!! i think it would be fun

No matter how I look at it ..
Kwon definitely not 100% human.
Especially story about that festival they are going to celebrate at the village seems implying that:
Kwon is either a full dragon that transformed (maybe when he met his mom, he was newborn dragon, and then assumed himself to be human).
Or, his mom got together with a dragon who disguised himself as human.
That explains why Kwon's father was not present, but the mom seems not resent the father?
