the author said they weren't going to bring back the 1st love for more drama and that was skylar's trauma which wasn't gonna come back in s3 so the 1st love is stays in s2 ig cuz he played his part （￣へ￣）
First love? U mean Minwoo? He played his part in shaping Skylar’s trauma/past and stayed in the past. The goal was to have Skylar came out of his shell and surpass the trauma on his own. No need to bring people from the past. This was confirmed by the author in the Note as well.
