He bites him and they have maching tatoos but we slowly start to realise gu fei is very scared of letting jiang cheng stay in his life and every moment is ready to let go which makes jiang cheng confused. We later learn why gu fei strugles so much to let jiang cheng into his lifes strugles. We have a lottt of angst ahead of us but many sweet moments too.
so did they break up??
After the national exams they went long distance but gu fei gave up cause he felt his life will never allow him to be with jiang cheng and leave his town but jiang cheng never gave up and keeped trying to support gu fei which worked and they made up after gu fei realised he is not alone and can achieve his goals and be free. Jiang cheng truly saved gu feis life and in return made sure jiang cheng knows he will always be his home. At the end of the story we have a small time skip and they are still happy together.
