As for plagiarism, I read the twitter posts and what I took from it is this webtoon has similar/identical sex scenes as other webtoons. That isn’t really plagiarism as there’s nothing original about sex scenes lol. Not to mention this childhood friend trope - friends with benefits is extremely common.

Imo it kinda seems like ppl just have the most problem with it because it was “taken” from a BL manhwa and tbh from what i’ve seen BL fans tend to be crazy about well.. BL.

“Hetero readers r so weird for liking this and easy to please” the art is good and the storyline/plot is basic and easy to understand, whether it’s “copied” or not it doesn’t change the fact that some people still enjoyed the combination of the art and simple plot, may or may not have known it was “copied”.
And from personal experience some BL readers are a lot weirder as the most popular BL manhwas, mangas, and donghuas have — very commonly nonconensual sex… rape… so yeahhh kinda weird..

This ! Kinda ...like are we gonna start copyrighting sex scenes and positions ? Go through and smuts and you'll find stories with the same exact scenes and positions but even then the panels look nothing alike? The positions, poses, angles, compositions etc look nothing alike....for goodness sake some of the panels compared have two jarringly different actions happening they compared two side profile kisses In the bl to a stomache kiss in cfc n the fl pushing the ml off her in cfc....I think ppl are just convinced by the first panel which again don't look alike but they look similar enough to have poisoned the well and deluded everyone into thinking the entire thing is identical. I also think it's because they think the panels are In order when they're actually cherry picked out of sequence panels.
