Im finding it interesting. Doing my head in cos I keep comparing it with the novel (which i did find very cut and blunt tbh).
And I did read somewhere the novel author-nim was wanting a 'reimagined' ending
personally i think they’re redoing the story great, the characters still have a lot of depth, the emotions still feel heavy and fleshed out, everything's still very well written and i just like it overall
Please do, they're doing a disservice to the novel. It was much more interesting, this is fully rushed. I didn't even feel half as sympathetic towards edith (she was in a way worse condition), none of them were supportive of her. the whole singling out and punishing author did not happen (that's the only bit I liked) plus they're hinting it in a way that seems like cliff is going to go back to the original world to find this twisted lizard but in the novel he married lizard, became the duke but got sick of her and divorced her.
I mean you're obviously entitled to your opinion, it's great that you still like it. I didn't feel sympathetic towards manhwa edith while i bawled my eyes out for novel edith (during the run away and execution bits). That's my major disappointment.
In that case, I hope the reimagined ending will be something like killain becoming the duke (although his county story is great and heartwarming) and not cliff getting Isekai-d to real world to find the bitch author, since that's what they seemingly to be hinting at.
They're completely twisting the original novel into something so damn, so goddamn boring. Like what the hell, why are you doing as you please like you're the author when you're just adapting it?
