I actually appreciated their moment. A lot of people don't see the kind of friendship that those two have. It isn't as deep-rooted as the one Lucy shares with Natsu, but it is almost at the same level with him. Gray has been the one who protects Lucy from some of the enemies whilst Natsu and Erza run off to do what they ought to do. And Lucy trusts Gray enough that she did what she did during when they found out that Gray is a high officer of the enemy.

P.S I hate the fact that GruVia shippers sometimes say that the romance between the two isn't plausible. I don't ship them, NALU is cannon omg, but it could be and until Gray actually grows some balls to finally say something it is possible that he (still) likes Lucy (and not Juvia). After all, all those moments that he talked about admitting ish to Juvia, the context was vague. Gray has been shown at times to be emotionally stunted. Look at his relationship with Lyon or even Natsu. Also, it is cannon that Gray like/d Lucy during the Oracion Seis incident. Even if you don't want the two to end up together, one has to admit that the two have a great friendship.

They have a great friendship. And I hope that we get a conclusion for fairy tail, you know ones without potholes. Like bleach!!!!!!!!

Plotholes. And I hope so too. But as it is there are still unanswered questions in FT. Questions that may or may not be answered in the end. I dunno about Bleach (I haven't read it, and not planning to) but I think FT has the potential to not suckass in its end.
