The boy is 17 I think, and Tera is in his twenties. The author hasn’t specified Tera’s age but Tera has stated that he dropped out of high school and didn’t go to college (I think I saw somewhere where ppl said he’s 24, I could be wrong tho ). Also, the author did say it was going to be one sided (romantic feelings), but I do hope the boy grows up and they become a couple .

Idk the author just won’t confirm the actual genre of the comic, but then again, he said something along the lines of how their relationship is gonna make our hearts melt (like, I HOPE SO…)
