And the series is pretty good, I’m just against the whole “make them look like a child even though they’re an adult” thing
I get where you’re coming from, I think that when building a character that looks younger than their age by an insane degree it CAN be weird and it needs to be built with an extreme degree of tact which I think this series definitely does. These characters aren’t romantic with anyone and there’s isn’t fan service of them because they aren’t meant to be sexualized because they are childlike and look childlike. There are also people out there in real life who look incredibly childlike for their age so it’s okay to make characters like this, again though, there just needs to be tact. I don’t think this manhwa has done anything particularly wrong.
Not this particular manhwa so far, no, but others, most definitely. Especially if they’re girls.
And yes there are some people that look childlike but they don’t act like one considering their age.
Yup! So again I understand your point but it’s kind of a nonissue with this particular series. I think the reason why the other person got upset about what you said is because sometimes people read the comments to decide whether they should read the story or not and your comment specifically makes it seem as if this story is comparable to stories that do sexualize childlike looking people or infantilize them and this story doesn’t do that. It could put people off the story entirely and this is a great story that doesn’t do anything worrying in that regard. I understand your concerns, but you don’t have to worry about that with this series, I promise.
