Omg you are right! They said they only die if the "maggots" head is being cut of and he has that obvious scar around his neck, so they beheaded him before maybe? Plus he's clearly not human right? Didn't even think about that.

I really wanna know why they are avoiding him/ are uncomfortable near him. Is he one of those Maggots as they call it? Or just generally somehow related to the undead? His eyes are a bit wierd but he's also so cute lol can't wait to see what happens
