CAUSE HE ACTUALLY GENUINELY GROVELS AND REGRETS THE BS HE PUTS THE MC THROUGH WHICH IS SO FREAKING SATISFYING

I up this, although I still feel like giving him a few more backshots of depression and regret—he’s done good so far throughout his character development
