I'm also still not convinced that Bada is an NPC just because Seongchan said so.
I think Seongchan's acting that way because that's his NPC script but I could be wrong. I need to reread bc this story is breaking my brain.
I guess Bada's memories would be restored once Doha finds his tape but I wonder if Bada has a tape somewhere that nobody knows about that contains some crucial information about him and the game.
Why is he playing if he's just an npc
- he's playing the game because he became a player a.k.a. Doha and Seongchan made him insert a tape. Doing so will turn NPCs into players.
Also seongchan's memory is gone than why does he keep up with bada is his cousin act?

How did doha die?
- this has always been a mystery. It's not just in the latest chapter but in all chapters as well. Doha's death was never shown so we're all clueless how he resets the game/proceeds to the next game session.
Bada is behaving like seongchan said then he's lost memories of all rounds and all come back if doha can find the tape right? Or all memories come except last game?
- he will lose his memories of all rounds, unless Doha is able to retrieve Bada's tape

Oh wait correction. No im not sure about the memories, but this is what I recently read from Ch8: if the game player dies without saving, it’s game over, and that session will be lost.

About seungchans memory he said he and doha together thought of including bada so if seungchans tape is gone from start then why does he says bada is his cousin but if that's just his script then it makes sense but then again it points out that he might have more to his role.
For tape acc. To as you said ch 8 if his tape is not saved then he loses progress not memories as if I'm not wrong bada has dies without saving tape or smth. If his tape is playing that's what gets his memory going so seungchan stopped his tape and hid it so his memories will be lost in this case if doha couldn't find it.
