No, they're letting her live. Regina got banished so Anita wouldn't be executed, and Anita is taking responsibility for Herman and keeping him at her side. Her heart is still totally screwed so she's going to die soon without anyone intervening. He might commit after she dies from her heart, don't quote me though that's just a theory.
Story ends at chapter 94. I’m still confused tho, does Anita get executed? Does Herman kill himself afterwards??
