Now that you say that. They only ever “switch personalities” when they switch bodies but they never try to improve it like they did with their previous one. I would be interested in a story where the MC swaps bodies but makes it their own.

It seriously is--the only reason I can somewhat forgive Kill the Lights for it is it gave us a taint piercing in exchange

but I really dislike it whenever authors write this trope, they switch the MCs into stereotypically bottom bodies
like going from buff to slim... and they don't try to get their old shape back, feels so off
