What's stupid is he's been VERY happy for 10+ years. The only one making it "pointless" is him.
If the people in a relationship find it happy and enriching, it can't be pointless. He forgot that simple truth. There are straight couples without kids who are very in love and happy....and even if they might regret not having had the chance for kids, they still have a good and deep life.
So, the pointless one right now is the seme.
What gets me is that I would wish the uke would move on and find someone wonderful, and the seme has to live with THAT regret forever. The one he pushed away.... take that, shithead.
