Unfortunately, this is the part where I think the manga is lacking. In the novel, even during this mini war, you can tell their chemistry is so strong to each other that Jaegyeom's actually reluctant to hurt Taehee, vice versa, despite him being hurt because he thought Taehee was the one who kidnapped Mesan.

Jaegyeom even put Taehee last on his hit list after he annihilate all the researchers, he hated Taehee for taking Mesan but he's so attracted to him that he's reluctant to hurt/kill him.
No worries, after this mini war, you will get long session of Taehee's "courting" Jaegyeom and that's when their romance took off
so how will romance develop they’re quite literally the description of enemies
