I think it was like that initially, but that Eldo is now an actual friend to Jumi. When she accidentally slapped Jumi she said "don't jump out like that! it's dangerous!", which implies she cares for Jumi's well-being.
Eldo did cozy up to Jumi just cause Jumi is friends with YooWon. That was pretty clear. And she hates HeeB (her rival), that's pretty clear. But she never intended physical harm to Jumi. Nevertheless, I don't give her a pass on slapping HeeB. She said nasty things, so he said nasty things back, tit for tat. She started it and escalated it. She threatened YooWon's "safety"--the very reason that YooWon is having issues and breaking up and whatever, is to protect his plan for his mother's sake, and this girl is threatening that very precious thing to YooWon (and precious by connection to HeeB, as we see in the new chapter).
Eldo was completely out of line. Verbal cattiness, yeah, high schoolers/young folks do that. But she totally went for the jugular and she threatened the guy he loves, and she then got physical.
Eldo needs to be put in the BAd Girl corner and made to reflect. And she needs to apologize, and not just to Jumi.
But she has the potential to be a lot better (aside from the arrogance, obsession). She's a lot like HeeB with the mouthiness/attitude, but there are things you don't threaten without being called a nasty bitch. She earned it.
I don't think anyone is arguing that what she did to Hee Bum was at all okay. The OP was saying that they think Eldo is just using Jumi to get closer to Yoo Won, i responded saying that she was at first, but that i think she is friends with Jumi now. She seemed to care that she accidentally slapped Jumi.
Yes, she obviously felt bad about hitting Jumi. I think that someone like Eldo benefits from befriending a kind-hearted, unselfish person like Jumi, as long as they don't just use them. Her trajectory could be like HeeB's (whose personality she mirrors), getting close and seeing that Jumi is truly a good person and to be trusted.
