Alex was a surprisingly good dude. I too was waiting for the assholery but was pleasantly surprised that he was a serious and decent dude.
I actually felt bad for Alex! Like he didn't actually do anything to make Cole unsure, he was completely upfront and open. Cole's insecurities were just a mountain poor baby.
Also I like how based on everyone else's reactions Cole might be that guy that has people who like him and want to talk to him, but he's so trapped by his own head he doesn't notice.
Also I saw on a post on chibachibascans tumblr, they actually uncensored it. I didn't even know you could do that! Wish more groups could do it (I'm sure its work tho...)

yeah... and i find that contradictory and hypocritical since their raunchier genres also have graphic (and sometimes brutal) sex scenes, but then in the middle of that a lightsaber/ lightsabers... like it magically negates everything else that is happening within the panels :/

it's not the image of the dick that's going to scar kids or people (although...) but rather how the dick is being forced onto an often times unwilling participant
Censorship laws are weird and vary by country, there is also the publisher to consider. What I mean is sometimes it just like pixeled or theres a bar, instead of the total erasure. Like in america there us actually specific rules and some publisher care more or agree more than others. Bigger publishers might avoid the possibility of being fined or sued by going above and beyond. Smaller publishers or publisher who specialize in harder content might not bother going that extra mile and just do the bare minimum needed to be legal.
This is also only based on a blanket rule about genitalia and the 'way' the genitalia is being used isn't really important for this law in itself. I mean in the US as long as the nipple is covered you can show boobs, like my friends aunt joked that since she had surgery and her nipples were gone she could go topless. Back in the day of the church censor laws (1930s-1970s-ish) showing a bedroom with only one bed was banned in films.
NORMALLY crazy characters who are insecure put me off but... Cole is such a lovable oddball that you just can't help but root for him
