Come on, people. Give Itou a break...he's just being real. It's sad and un-yaoi-ish (it's not even a word ( ̄∇ ̄")) but it's nice to have this kind of plot every now and then.

Yes, and I understand his feeling a little because I'm at 'that age' when people keep on nagging me about getting married and having children, like in Bridget Jones's Diary.
Living in conservative Japanese society and being a regular office worker, is like really tiring and stressful, and you start thinking 'What's my life for?'
But well, further reason of why I understand how he feels will include spoilers, so I can't say it, but people need to make mistakes to realize what is really important, and I think he needed to go through that to be really 'okay' with his life.

So he do that to try out and then if it goes bad there it will be Yukii waiting for him, doesnt it? and then he will be ok with his life. Very selfish.

I totally understand your point. But I still think mangaka should not let they get back together. In real life, I don't anyone could take seme after what he've done.

Hahahha no worry! But true to that. It's a struggle, but that's how people grow.
