Low level mistakes such as not knowing who's coming to your party is so unrealistic. It would've been fine if this was in the beginning and nobody knew anybody but awakeners were coming to korea bc they knew kaiden was there. They knew kaiden has a disciple. Said disciple even fought against others! He's not exactly lowkey. How come they didn't know who jiwoo was when a little 1+1 could do wonders? Either the bryan family is incompetent af, or the author(s) needs a reason for conflict and it just so happens that a low hanging fruit was there

Not really! They mentioned seeing “Shinwha” and since Korean awakeners are still considered very weak by the larger awakener community it’s possible that they genuinely had no idea about it! Especially the way she scoffed remembering they were from Korea! It was truly her bias/prejudice against Korean awakeners that ruined the event. I’m sure she did do research but saw Korea and just did the bare minimum and payed the price lol

Korea is considered as weak and it was mentioned before—and that they’ve been just causing uproar recently. They only heard about it but never really considered since in their eyes korea is not a threat. They invited "shinwa" in particular, it was also mentioned that Jiwoo was just a sub for jinyoung which is why arthur was surprised seeing jiwoo. By Arthur's reaction, the one who organized the event might as well got informed that there will be a sub but the Bryans might just ignore it since they were just invited for getting the attention of the awakeners recently. It was like "hey, come to my party since everyone's talking about you" it's kinda showing off in the part the Bryan as well as if they were thinking that shinwa would accepted the alliance which they declined. As per the reaction of versper or vespera and other part of their family I don't really think they give a sh!t about the Korea's awakeners and was doing it because of the attention they were getting.

And yes, jiwoo wasn't particularly low-key since he fought other top ten's disciples but you also need to remember that he was introduced in the world of awakeners for just a year, no solid background as an awakener and no one really know his face even if they heard his name or being kayden's disciple and as far as the story goes no one really mingle in top ten's life since it would be hassle to be in their bad side especially in kayden's who was known for being a troublemaker. And do you think if ever they tried to investigate about who kayden's disciple is, kayden would let them slide even if their intention is just knowing him?
