Same, I'm confused as of now. I'm thinking he's probably looking for the one person who is 100% pure soul. As even though your a good person, experiencing something new , isolation, or trauma can drive even the happiest person insane. He's probably looking for that one soul that can overcome/never be corrupted, in order to give him hope for the future.
What if it's more nefarious than that?
Look, I love MC regardless, but I'm thinking he's going to use pure souls to somehow make his way to heaven to kill the other gods.
He has NO interest in demonkind. I'm thinking he has no desire to save humanity at this point. Only use them for his revenge.
Then allow himself to be the object of revenge for the demon girl, then perish.
Hmm, what if its a power thing? Like the other gods are losing worshippers from the wars and Raul taking the tainted to hell. While those pure souls technically are his worshippers in way granting him more godly power?
I forget if that's how it works in this series, but it would make sense if that was the case. I'm just being pessimistic, even though I find him tragically adorable.
Didn't they also hint in the beginning that he is a transmigrator or something? Like, he had a previous life in the modern world?
I wonder what the purpose of the paradise is, his end goal with that isn't clear to me.
