I agree. The fact that he calmed down so fast? The kiss while he's having a panic attack??? The fact that they're acting like hanging up is the solution to the problem when a real person would not buy that for a second???? Give me a break.
Chillllllll .. that was a temporary solution to calm him down. Heck, I thought it was smart to at least show how simple it is to avoid his mother. And it wasn't just a kiss. It also helped to regulate his breathing. It might've seemed fast if you read fast, but if you play it out in your mind in real time, it was fairly decent.
Calm down is a crazy response to someone sharing their opinion on writing. It wasn't well written and it wasn't realistic. Kissing someone who's having a panic attack is not normal human behavior lol
