one thing I’ve noticed in translated Korean manhwa is that “not really” is used as a subtle way to mean “not at all,” while native English works use it to mean something that does happen but rarely. It sometimes gets me confused when “not really” is used in the former, because its meaning is closer to the latter. It’s probably because English language is more blunt and not as nuanced as Korean language ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

    In english it's also understood to mean not at all, because english is contextual..
