I do not think anyone making excuses for Regef seriously believes that he is good and needs a redemption...
They just see a pretty boy with serious mummy, daddy and sister issues... He was severely abused by his psychopathic father and developed an abnormal obsession with his sister..
He is pretty and fucked up.. that is it.
we feel sorry for him and want his punishment but not by his dad...
In a way I feel bad for rezef cause it’s not his fault he turned out that way, but that doesn’t excuse his actions towards cayenna. They both had rough childhoods and cayenna was extremely forgiving especially with him poisoning her, being extremely violent towards her, objectifying her, at least far better than what I would’ve taken, all cause he was her brother, but her last straw being him killing basically the only maternal figure she knows was her last straw and rightfully so. So yes if rezef gets punished it was cause of his actions towards her, doesn’t make it any less sad but deserving. She’s suffered way too much at his hands in both lives, all in the name of “brotherly love”
