The ML tried to push him away so many times. He tried to let him go. He tried to keep his distance, but the MC was the one who kept coming back, the one who kept chasing after him, the one who kept getting hurt every time the ML pushed him away.
Yes, the ML should have come clean. Yes, he should have told the MC about what happened when they were children. But that’s not an easy thing to admit. Imagine knowing that a stupid, childish mistake you made when you were five ended up ruining someone’s life. Imagine living with that guilt every single day, knowing that no matter what you do, you can never take it back. And then imagine falling in love with the person you wronged, knowing that if they ever found out the truth, they would never forgive you. You need to see both sides.

I think you forgot, ML was the one who came to Mc because he wanted to "spectrophilia". Mc only wanted to be close to ml because of the black string of faith which ruined his life, which is something any normal person would be curious about.
If Ml really was sorry and felt guilty he would have STAYED THE FUCK AWAY from uke.
Im seeing both side but it's clear Ml fucked up. He is at fault and should be blamed.

Little girl, I'm gonna hold your hands when I say this, but in adult world, mature people do not treat their partners terribly and apologize for their wrong doings. Yes, even when that wrong doing was done as a child because, ideally, even children need to know about this thing called "accountability" and "responsibility". That's how you grow up to be a decent member of society.
I know it does not feel good to feel guilt, but it is simply not enough if you don't tell and show the other person how sorry you are. Otherwise, the other person would think that you don't care, and to everyone else, you are cowardly and not a nice guy. Now that's not good is it?
Now I don't know if your parents/guardian care enough to teach you about this, but if they didn't it's totally not your fault. But when you grow up you will realize why Eunhan was in the wrong for the majority of this story and that MCs reaction was totally reasonable and justified. If you still have more questions, do not be scared to ask a trusted adult

It's okay if you don't understand what I'm saying yet, afterall learning takes time! Kids like you shouldn't be ashamed if you don't learn as fast as the others. If you have a hard time understanding now that could still change in the future!
It is also common for children, such as yourself, to lack some reading comprehension and media literacy, but again, don't worry! You will learn about that in your elementary school! During your journey to growing up you will meet a lot of different people that will help you understand the world a little bit. People who will make you realize the value of apologizing.
If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask me or a trusted adult!
So let me get this straight. y’all are really out here saying a five-year-old deserves lifelong suffering because he made a wish? A WISH. With a spirit. A supernatural entity. He didn’t plot a murder, he didn’t consciously ruin anyone’s life, he didn’t have any real control over what happened. He was a literal minor, dealing with something far beyond his understanding.
And let’s be clear: the ML did not kill anyone. He did not lay a hand on the MC’s parents. He did not set out to ruin the MC’s life. He was a jealous child who made a selfish wish, and the spirit twisted it into something awful. That is not intentional harm. That is not malicious. That is a supernatural consequence of something that a kid had no way of predicting or controlling.
But you all think he should be hated forever for that? That he deserves to suffer indefinitely for something he probably didn’t even fully comprehend until he got older? Be serious. If you actually believe a minor should be held to the same moral standard as an adult, then apply that logic to yourself. Think about every dumb, selfish, or reckless thing you did as a kid should you be persecuted for it for the rest of your life?
If your answer is no, then why does he deserve it?
It’s actually crazy how people hate the ML for everything, even when his actions were literally self-sacrificing. They hate him for a mistake he made as a child, they hate him for being manipulated and brainwashed, they hate him for trying to protect the MC, they hate him for keeping his distance to keep the MC safe, they hate him for not saying ‘I love you’ because he was trying not to drag the MC into his mess. but when the MC leaves in the most narcissistic, self-important way possible, they think the ML deserves to suffer forever? Thats a actually a joke.
