Yeah... I thought it was a mix between game and modern dungeons with a lot of revenge... instead... is basically a dating sim... the affection parameter with npc is normal... what is not normal is for it to be different for same and opposite genders... the option to get it on with npcs like that turned mc into a frigging leecher...
I can't help but feel that he keeps trying to take advantage of women left and right... and honestly the women all look like they all came out of badly written porn comics... they clothes are so skimpy someone choose to censor ir by making it look like they are wearing sports bras and spats underneath their clothes...
But really... mc having dirty thoughts all the time and about all the women... makes me look down on him...
It's like the author of the story forgot what the story was about, I still enjoy it but I find them scenes annoying and not necessary for the story. I don't mind getting her favourity up but I don't like that the MC wants to have sex with the npc women.
He went from let's raise affinity to get more and better quests to let's hit 70 affinity to I can dual cultivate (fck) with them all...
He also went from I'll treat them all as real people because they actually are and in 5 years (less in this tl it seems) the 2 worlds will fuse to treating them like dating-sim game characters real fast... like if he wasn't afraid of getting beaten to death by his master he'd have no problem taking advantage of every woman he sees... like... the only reason he didn't go with the princess is because he'd have to marry her... the master would beat him, the same sect girl has her father and grandfather to beat him... the medicine sect girl wasn't important enough and when he found out she's close to her also female sect leader beauty the leader dislike his master and forbid him entry... and that's not how he trats the real women he knows... be it his female roommate, his "distant" close cousen or the other female players... he gets hot and pervy thoughts about them but he's not objectively trying to fck them like the npcs... and he knowing they are/will be real actually makes him worse than the male players that want to get them thinking they are just game characters...
Now... story-wise... I really don't get harem with cultivation settings... it's very clear you can't be dao companions and dual-cultivate with more than one person... that's the difference between people from the orthodox and unorthodox/demonic sects... the ones that do so with multiple people are bad guys and spurned by the orthodox people... so it baffles me when it's unacceptable for everyone but the protagonist to do so... same goes for him wanting to get it on with his master... like... that's taboo in all cultivation novels and comics I've seen... mc himself says it... master for a day, parent for life... and even in the romance ones getting with the master usually gets them expelled from their sect...
Honestly, I don't hate harem... there are a few good ones out there... or at least acceptable... but this is not one of them...
I won't drop this cuz there's worst ones around... but ain't gonna be one of my favorite reads too... I wonder what will happen to his looks when the 2 worlds fuse... I also think it would be funnier if instead of perving all the time mc has to fight off the women (and some men) after him cuz he fckd up having his charisma too high... it would be even more funny if the other players kinda got affected by it in game but not irl...
Hahaha, that would be funny but he's use to getting gazes by people that's why in the past he picked a unattractive character since he's attractive in real life.
Maybe the only thing that changed could be his hair colour and length to the same as his character.
I really enjoy this but recently it's been disappointing, the mc wants to be strong and don't care about any of the women which I really liked. He didn't want any distractions but whenever he sees a female npc he flirts with her. Further in now and he wants to bed his master as well since he was being happy that her favourabity is almost 60. He only needs 70 to be able to bed her since he's always fantasting about it. What happened to the character we met at the start of the manga where he wanted to be strong and not have any distractions. I prefer when they don't really care about the women and only care about being strong/getting revenge.
